Originally produced in 1969, the Leisure Port was prized by boaters camping on the wind swept beaches of Lake Powell due to its resilience in high winds and its generous shade in hot weather. With a wide range of applications and set-up variations ranging from sun shade, to screen house, to storm shelter, the Leisure Port is ideal in the mountains, beach, or backyard.

My new Leisure Port tent arrived in perfect condition. It was packaged very well. I opened everything up to make sure all was included, then put it all away in anticipation of our next camping trip in the spring. We use a tent as additional outdoor living space, as our van is pretty small inside. For several years we've used a pop-up screened enclosure made by another company but became disenchanted with it because it lacked a floor and was very wind sensitive. The Leisure Port promises to solve both problems. If we like it and turn to tent camping, I plan to buy another Springbar for sure.
The Liesure Port is my new favorite car camp accessory! So easy to use and so, so versitile!
I recently used it for a cover over our camp table, to provide shade. It was a little tricky at first but once you figure out the tricks you've got a nice set up! Not to mention the admirers. I also have the compact. And Traveler!
We love our leisure port. We had a slight issue with it and it was handled immediately, I have called a few times with random questions and have had very very kind and knowledgeable people help me. We are definitely a customer for life !!!! Thank you Springbar
Own the Traveler (2002) a Compact (2021) and now the Leisure Port. They are all durable, well made and seemingly impervious to snow, sleet, ice, rain and hail. Too bad they stopped making wall tents-I’d have one of them too.
